Sometimes all the carb-cutting, low-fat, high-veggie and workout everyday prescriptions just don’t do the trick. These are the moments that the cleanse was made for—but what if you don’t want to spend $10 a juice?

Luckily, you don’t have to. Here’s how you can do it without spending your entire month’s budget in a day:

3 easy Steps to Make your own low-cost Cleanses

Step 1: Check out the juices you’ll be making below. Tally the number of days you’ll be juicing (I say start with 3 or 4), then make a list. read it twice. then shop.

Step 2: The Juices

Greens Juice (makes 3 bottles, aka 1 day worth)3 cups of kale, 3 cups of spinach, 3 kiwi (peeled), 3 green apples, 3 bananas.

Juice everything, minus the banana. Blend the banana. add banana to juice. Divide in to bottles. Refrigerate.

Beet-Apple-Carrot Juice (makes 1 bottle, drink 1x per day)1 washed and peeled beet, 1 peeled carrot, 2 red apples, 1.5 tbs ginger

Juice everything. pour in to bottle. Refrigerate.

Cleanse Spicy Lemon (makes 1 bottle, 1 x per day)1 lemon, juiced, 1 tsp honey, pinch cayenne

Mix in to water bottle. Fill with water. Refrigerate.

Cashew Shake (make 1 bottle, 1 x per day)1 cup cashews soaked for 2 hours in water, 1 banana, 1 cup water, pinch cinnamon, nutmeg, and whatever else you like

Blend. Drink. Smile.

Step 3: Make a start date and a promise, then just juice it.

There are a whole lot of recipes out there, but these seem to be the normal – and, no matter what all the groceries cost you I guarantee it’s less than what you’d spend at ****** getting pre-made juices. Be healthy, be smart, and feel good.
